No Concept of National Song : SC

Advocate Ashwini Upadhyay filed a petition for framing a National policy"in spirit of Article 51A to achieve the great golden goals, as set out in the Preamble of the Constitution of India"
Bench of three SC Judges said that it should be clearly noted that Article 51A(a), citing the citizens' fundamental duties, does not refer to 'National Song'. It only refer to National Flag and National Anthem.

Govt. Junks border wall plan

Govt have decided to build smart fence instead of border wall along the Pakistan Border in Jammu. The raised embankment was initiated by UPA govt in 2013. This was challenged by Pakistan in United Nations Security Council accusing India of converting “working boundary” into a “quasi international boundary”.

Now instead of wall , Indian Govt have decided to build smart fence using sensors and laser technology to identify any infilteration.
